Dear Tambry 4/23/2015, You must be surprised about getting this letter. I don't blame you. I reacted the same way. You may perhaps notice the date on this letter is a bit beyond what you are at right now. Do not panic. The last thing you want to do is panic in a situation like this. What situation, you may ask? Perhaps this letter was sent back father than I expected. Anyways, we cannot dwell on those details now. Time is of the essence. I guess you still don't know what I'm talking about. A great disaster will befall upon you and your family soon. You must begin preparations to prepare. Now, I'm sure by the time you're at this part of the letter, you're about ready to disregard anything I just said. I'm warning you, you don't want to do that... You must listen and prepare everyone to go to the bunker built under the house. Of course I know of the bunker, I built it. Father's "projects" were always a little destructive. The code is 3-47-18. Do not forget it and do not let this letter get into the wrong hands. There are things to be amended and we're running out of time.
Sincerely Tambry 3/17/2047.
Dear Tambry 4/25/2015,
The past has not changed. What have you done, or rather not done? You did not heed my previous letter, did you? I assume now I must inform you of the dire consequences that have arisen. A woman, by the name of Y, has now taken the lives of your family. You are the only survivor. She set a bomb off, killing everyone but you. You survived because you went to check out the bunker, but you didn't bring anyone else. Now, as I'm sure you've realized by now, these are letters from the future. Time travel is a tricky situation, but I am able to send at least these letters into the past. Technology is not yet advanced enough to send people back, or else I would go and change the horrid future that I live in. You see, with your parents dead, the world never got their research. It was lost forever, and society began to collapse. You must find and attempt to preserve their work, or at least, what you can salvage.
Sincerely Tambry 6/18/2047.
Dear Tambry 2/28/2017,
Where is the work that should have been hidden in the wall? We both know if you were going to preserve something, it would be in the wall safe. Why is it not here? Are you attempting to ruin your own future? You must heed me, Tambry. The future is not fully written. We can change it and we can prevent the disasters that will befall us both. I implore you to search the ruins of the house before the government finally finds their work. It must not fall into their hands, Tambry. You must trust me now. There is little time to waste and I am running out of time as well. I fear that I am being followed and that our hard work will be lost.
Sincerely Tambry 8/3/2049.
Dear Tambry 4/18/2019,
She's here and she is there. Y is around us both. She must be stopped. She is a threat to our lives and all of humanity. Her actions have caused the downfall of society without their technology. Tambry in the past, you must stop Y. I don't care how, but you must. She cannot be allowed to live. I do not know if I can kill her here in my time, but if you can kill her then, then all will be better for the future. Please, Tambry from the past. You must kill Y. Everything is so bleak and desolate in the future. I can barely find the time to send these letters back. One day, I hope, the technology will exist that people can go to the past and I can save us from this grim fate.
Sincerely Tambry 12/14/2051.
Dear Tambry 8/19/2025,
I'm sorry I haven't written to you in a few years. I was imprisoned for stealing a piece of highly advanced tech. What is it for, you ask? Why, for advancing the time machine technology, of course. The plans for a human time machine, they are finally complete. I had found them in the safe after rechecking them once I got out. Have they been here all this time? Why only now have they appeared? Also, have you heard of the whereabouts of Y? I have not heard of her in a long time. Is she finally dead? Did you kill her? It doesn't matter now. The future is ours to change, and we can save ourselves from this nightmare of a future.
Sincerely Tabry 1/29/2057.
Dear Tambry 7/4/2030,
My dearest apologies for not being able to write to you sooner. I have been busy moving locations and I had not found the time to write to you. Y is hot on my trail and I fear she wishes to stop my work. If I complete the time machine, then Y would no longer exist. She is prolonging her life, and will stop at nothing to continue living. This includes destroying the greatest piece of technology the world has ever known. I expect in a few close years that I can finish the machine. Father would be so proud. I will change the future and I will save us all from the disaster Y has befell upon us. She will learn what it means to suffer.
Sincerely Tary 3/7/2062.
Dear Tambry 6/18/2040,
I am nearing completion on the machine. It's taken me a long time to get to where it is now, given it's been ten years since I've wrote to you. I've looked over the letters from the past that I've received from myself, and it only fuels my desire to complete the machine. Y grows near, but there is nothing that can stop me. She cannot prevent the change in the future I will cause. Do not worry, Tambry. The future will be ours, and I have a plan to get rid of Y once and for all. She draws ever so near. I will be waiting.
Sincerely Tay 11/28/2072.
Dear Tambry 3/17/2046,
Y is dead, but something is terribly wrong. She has the face of mine, but older and much bleaker. She had attacked me in the lab, I can only assume to destroy the machine. There was a letter on her, marked for yesterday. It's addressed for me. I'd love to open it, but I don't have the time. Why does she have a face like mine? Her DNA is even close to mine as well, almost as if she were a twin. What is happening? Why is this happening? Who or what is Y? There is only one option left. I must go back into the past to go back to that fateful day. I must understand what happened. I may perhaps visit you, or at least, see myself when I was happy.
Sincerely Ty 12/24/2078.
Dear Tambry 3/16/2047,
The future cannot be changed. Everything that is has already been written, I see that now. Why must I be subjected to this torment? The bomb, I set it off in an attempt to save the future. Instead, I caused it. This loop, it will continue. Why? Why? Y? I have no future left. I can only hope to enjoy this time, and prevent myself from the bleak disaster of a future that awaits. Even once the technology is available, there is no hope, no end. Tambry, there is no more of a future for you. You must be surprised about getting this letter. I don't blame you. I reacted the same way. You may perhaps notice the date on this letter is a bit beyond what you are at right now. Do not panic. The last thing you want to do is panic in a situation like this.
Sincerely Y 4/24/2015.
Dear Tambry 12/23/2078,
Tambry, it is imperative that you open this before you time travel. As I'm sure you've figured out, you are Y. And, there is something you must know. Something I have only just remembered. I found a letter, also addressed to myself in some old clothes that I first time travelled back in. It is this letter. You cannot time travel back. If you do, you will time travel back into Father's lab. When you do, you'll be above ground. Once the gravity starts taking effect on you, your hands will hit the panels. I...You, caused the explosion. I've told you, this fate is unavoidable, but there is no reason I cannot try. I'll try to get this letter to you before that fateful day you time travel. If I cannot stop you, then there is no hope for us.
Sincerely Y 12/20/2078
